Because books.

The front page is so cleaned up, now! I like it.

Although I can see what you mean, too -- if you make a folder for writing/reading, it is going to be a bit spare.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Blech. No like.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh! I use Message Center, so I wouldn't have looked at the Home Page any time soon had I not skimmed here first.

Shiny!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

During this conversation is the first I've looked at the front page in months. That said, it looks lovely. ita, you are a wonderful person.

Okay, obviously the blechs are being outweighed by the shiny, so I'll shut up about that.

Why the label "subfolders" though? Aren't they just folders? (This is a serious question-- am I missing something about the board organization?)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Folders can be nested indefinitely. The code that displays the main page is the same as the code that displays a folder deep. So that's why. I could do a check to see if you're at level 0, but it's not happening today.

Huh. I have the feeling that is supposed to make sense to me, but I hit the word code and suddenly, not so much.

Really? I figure most people will spin out at "nested." The rest isn't even in English.

It's a librarian thing, I guess.
