Ah, ok. No worries, I'll just switch back to city and state.

Do you have problems, concerns, or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
I'll just switch back to city and state.
I think the problem with that (and I think it's happening with Somerville) is that it will assume that's the exact same address too if someone else just puts in city and state.
Closest major intersection works, too.
You can specify your street, or a nearby intersection--they've been very generous with the approximations they allow.
Seems that the speeding up I want to do is hard at this version of PHP--better suited for version 5. Which brings my head back around to the upgrade.
What I'd like to do is upgrade everyone here to the CSS version of the site first, and then once that has been proven stable move to a newer server which has a newer version of PHP and has fancy PostgreSQL and stuff.
For the switch to the CSS code I'm going to want a couple slow hours on the weekend--late Saturday night, perhaps, this very week.
Wait--Jon, is there anything outstanding, any changes you made that I might not have implemented or anything?

Nope. Just get rid of the border around b.org and it should be golden.
Okay--I've solved the speed problem on the map on the CSS site at least.
Be warned--I haven't implemented much/anything in the way of errorchecking your locations. It will barf at you if it doesn't recognize what you're putting in. Back up and try again--no harm no foul.
Validation to follow.
I totally want to move back to Wyoming now so we can have a pin on the map there.
edit: nebbermind
I've updated the .org map page so that it should load much faster now.
Coming up next...Buffista to Buffista driving directions.
I am kidding. I hope you realise that.
HA! After that you can tie it into the GPS on our phones so we can see livetime info as Buffistas move about the world. Then there could be little graphic sparks flying when there's a F2F and there is too high a concentration of Buffistas in one area.
