Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The side being on the right hand side would fix that..

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

can there be a way to make external links open in a new window?

On mobile devices, or in general?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

On the iPod Touch, I have no complaints. On the Treo, it's be nice if the top graphics went away, but that's a nitpick - this is already one of the most mobile-friendly sites I ever visit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When the style sheet site goes up (yeah--not waiting on anyone but me) removing the graphics is trivial. Hopefully the other changes will be too.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

this is already one of the most mobile-friendly sites I ever visit.

I can't speak to that part of it, but I'm always constantly amazed at how awesome the site is, and I probably don't say it enough. Huge, massive, Montana-sized thanks to everyone who did the design and development work.

Jon B, either or. Dunno if others would find that "feature" cool or annoying.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

IIRC, we've been back and forth on it before and went with "it's easier for the user to manually open something in a new tab/window than to not if they want it in the same window."

except in the iPhone, you can't copy a link and open in new page. Not sure if that problem exists with other mobile browsing devices/OS's.
