We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

For people who read and post from mobile devices, how could the board be better tuned for them?

it's not that bad, but if the top header were gone, I think that I wouldn't have to scroll over to see the posts, and they might be wider (now, ,they are 3-4 words per line)

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I can't figure out how to read white font on my iPhone. I might just be stupid.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

You can't, Kevin. There's no drag and select function on iPhones/iTouches, which is what you need to be able to see the white font.

Yeah, on my mobile phone, it'd be easier to read if the left sidebar were gone, because for some reason I have to scroll through all that before getting to the posts. But whatev'.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The side being on the right hand side would fix that..

can there be a way to make external links open in a new window?

can there be a way to make external links open in a new window?

On mobile devices, or in general?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

On the iPod Touch, I have no complaints. On the Treo, it's be nice if the top graphics went away, but that's a nitpick - this is already one of the most mobile-friendly sites I ever visit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When the style sheet site goes up (yeah--not waiting on anyone but me) removing the graphics is trivial. Hopefully the other changes will be too.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

this is already one of the most mobile-friendly sites I ever visit.

I can't speak to that part of it, but I'm always constantly amazed at how awesome the site is, and I probably don't say it enough. Huge, massive, Montana-sized thanks to everyone who did the design and development work.
