From an anti-prolifirationista POV, I think tv foldering might encourage more tv threads, since we might figure, what the heck, it's just another thread in the tv folder. I also, would hate to see Buffy/Angel or Firefly or Minearverse in any tv/media folder.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You just haven't given up yet, Wolfram.

I don't know what you mean.

I don't think the foldering encourages proliferation, so much as accomodates it because a) it's already happened and b) may continue to, no matter how much I vote.

I believe no one should steal things from my apartment. I still keep the front door locked.

Okay, we disagree. But what is it exactly that I haven't given up?

Kristen - Aug 19, 2005 9:49:09 am PDT #147 of 4671

That anyone can turn the tide of proliferation.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Okay, we disagree.

Psst! Wolfram keeps his front door unlocked!

Well, I'm not really anti-p, and I don't think the tide can be or should be turned. I just thought it might increase the flow with a dedicated folder, but I'm often wrong.

Psst! Wolfram keeps his front door unlocked!

Uh, it's actually true. (Not like our lock is all that, and hey, we don't have to replace the glass on the door.) My car door too.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'm trying to figure out why Buffy/Angel and Firefly wouldn't be in the TV/media folder. They were TV shows, after all.

What is even happening?

I'd make B/A and FF community threads, too. It's an identification thing in my mind, maybe. That said, I'd rather have folders, and everything in the folders, than have any say in what goes in which folder. As long as some sort of organization will be involved, I'm good.
