Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If we threw music and movies in with the tv folder it wouldn't set off those bells so much?

All those with bells, please speak up.

In which case, I say, why don't we categorize everything?

I don't think it's a good idea to have that a naked front page. In your categorisations, what would be there other than folders and right hand threads?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I like the idea of folderizing everything that has a place to go.

I don't mind TV having it's own folder. In fact, IFG! But it would also be good to have all of the Writing stuff together or maybe with texty stuff to include reading.

I guess, I just enjoy folders. I'm not invested in what they are or how they are named.

Or, more concisely, what Liese says.

One question, with folders, will we be encouraged to have more threads? Cause, crafts!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was thinking:

MediaMusic, Firefly, Lost, Movies, Box Set, Spoilers, Buffy & Angel, Jossverse, Spoilers Lite, LotR, Firefly Spoilers Creativity & LiteratureLiterary,Book Club, Great Write Way, Fanfic, Buffista Fic, Sang Sacre CommunityNatter, Bitches, Minearverse, F2F, Unamerican, and the seasonal Good Riddance

I dunno about technology, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's indicative of how I see the board, but I'd leave community on the front page.

Also, Minearverse is a community of people who mostly want to talk about Minear stuff, but really I think it's media as much as anything else.

Personally, I care not one whit for foldering anything other than TV, because that's the growing area.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I was thinking about the naked front page. Maybe we could put in the top 2 most recently active threads near each category, then a link for more? I dunno. I know that's not how it looks now, with "Closed Threads" just under "Subfolders".

That requires coding, and as such would go in the implementation list.

It's a good idea, but it's a way away.

What is even happening?

I love the idea of folders, regardless of whether the VM thread is approved. My lamest of all my lame first world complaints is that sometimes, I find myself control effing for the thread I want to find on the main page.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'd be fine with the community threads on the front page.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, ita, I could go with that.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I am HUGELY behind this whole folder idea, and I like Liese's categories. (But would also be fine with leaving the "Community" threads loose.)

Maybe there could also be an option in the Profile to view the front page by folders or not. (The default being to see the folders, but with the option to just see a long list of threads.)
