I'm not sure the threadsuck script works anymore. I don't have perl installed on this machine, so I'll have a look when I get to work.

Do you have problems, concerns, or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
And... It doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure, but I suspect it probably hasn't worked since WX went to paid memberships.
The script never worked 100%. It would occasionally drop posts for no reason that John H. or I could ever figure out, although we suspected it was the random way WX included ads in the threads.
Oh, well. the thread I want to suck is down anyway :)
You might want to hunt around on some of the WX community threads. There was someone working on a threadsucker back when WX was having its server issues not long after we left, but I never went back to see how things turned out.
I can't recall if there is a particular way I should mention this, so I'm just going to put it here and then do it again if needs done. I'd like to request a small feature with the bookmarks--obviously they're really handy, but I just went through my list and deleted the ones I no longer use. It was twenty or so of them, and it was a pain to wait for the page to refresh again and again just so I could delete one bookmark at a time. Could we have some kind of tickybox option, where you could select multiple bookmarks and then hit "delete"? I put it before the board dev gods. Thanks.
Wrod to what SA said!
Double wrod - that's a great idea.
::wipes brow:: Whew, glad other people wanted it. It's come in really handy for deleting hundreds of memories on livejournal, and it seems like it would be handy here.
Heads up: duplicate post numbering in Natter, combined with really slow board performance when the rest of the internet is behaving normally.
It happens when everyone's jumping on posting in the same thread at really close times--like a thread ending or starting, or Hec's games.
Fuck, there are so many things half done. Tag closing in posts needs fixing, I have rewritten the code to use CSS positioning only, but the posting box is wack in IE, and then there was the project to switch the back end out to Postgres.
And that's not even counting the bugs reported above.
