Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He should quit tomcatting around long enough to get back to writing.

I'm not saying I'd let him lick my buttocks, but his tomcatting is part of the charm (albeit more appreciated from a distance).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, my god, I work with some of the world's most unhelpful people.

Is it any wonder that I'd rather play with my LJ icons?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I don't hate Will Farrell, but he annoys me far, far more often than he makes me laugh. (The latter is likely the "reigned in" situations Jessica speaks of.)

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I have no idea what the revision and editing process is going to look like. It should be scaryinteresting.

I'm still figuring out how to revise and edit, myself. I do a fair amount as I go along, because I participate in a couple of critique groups and try to work in any of their suggestions that work for me while they're fresh in my mind. I like it because it keeps earlier parts of my story in the front part of my mind, which helps me be more consistent. Once I have a completed draft, I'm going to try this method: [link] It looks sensible and efficient. I'll report back if it works.

But for now I'm just enjoying writing steadily and feeling like I'm accomplishing something.

Great feeling, isn't it? Do you ever visit the Great Write Way thread?

I used to have the Celebrity Jeopardies as MP3 files, back in the good'ol Napster days. Now I can't find them.

I think I'm pretty good with continuity. At least, I'm pretty good at picking stuff out in other people's work, so hopefully that will carry over to mine. I know I have to go back and change a line or two in Chapter 1 because a character that shows up in Chapter 2 is mentioned as if he's an acquaintence of the main character, but he ended up behaving more like a friend once I got around to writing him.

Once I have a completed draft, I'm going to try this method: [link] It looks sensible and efficient. I'll report back if it works.

Okay. Cool. I'll give that a read over when I'm not at work. (Yay for Buffistas simple black text on white, non-attention-grabbing style.)

Great feeling, isn't it? Do you ever visit the Great Write Way thread?

Yes.

You know, for some reason I had it merged with the fanfic thread in my mind, so I never visited. (Not slighting fanfic, I just don't read or write it, so I wouldn't have anything to contribute.) I will have to correct that, I think.

There's some on the Will Ferrell Best of SNL dvd, I think. On one of them, anyway. I keep meaning to buy it, and then not. As with so much in life.
