I have no idea what the revision and editing process is going to look like. It should be scaryinteresting.

I do a fair amount as I go along, because I participate in a couple of critique groups and try to work in any of their suggestions that work for me while they're fresh in my mind. I like it because it keeps earlier parts of my story in the front part of my mind, which helps me be more consistent. Once I have a completed draft, I'm going to try this method: [link] It looks sensible and efficient. I'll report back if it works.

But for now I'm just enjoying writing steadily and feeling like I'm accomplishing something.

I think I'm pretty good with continuity. At least, I'm pretty good at picking stuff out in other people's work, so hopefully that will carry over to mine. I know I have to go back and change a line or two in Chapter 1 because a character that shows up in Chapter 2 is mentioned as if he's an acquaintence of the main character, but he ended up behaving more like a friend once I got around to writing him.

You know, for some reason I had it merged with the fanfic thread in my mind, so I never visited. (Not slighting fanfic, I just don't read or write it, so I wouldn't have anything to contribute.) I will have to correct that, I think.
