What did you think it was about before? Or did you just never think about it? (I've missed song lyric double-entendres by not thinking about the lyrics.)
Never thought about it.

tommyrot, is that the "I've got a brand new pair of roller skates; you've got a brand new key" song?
Yep.
I just listened to it now (it's on my iPod). Fun.
Also, I've never paid attention to the lyrics of "Brand New Key", but I had no idea it was about anything other than rollerskates and keys.
There was a HUGE scandal about our class trying to have "Nights In White Satin" by the Moody Blues as our prom theme, because the title was too sexual. @@
If it is about more than rollerskates and keys, it now makes sense that Rollergirl listened to it during her first romp with Dirk in Boogoe Nights.
Now I wish I'd had a prom! I want a prom theme!
I think it's safe to say that any pop song about putting anything into anything else is actually about Doing It.
I rode my bicycle past your window last night
I roller skated to your door at daylight
It almost seems that you're avoiding me
I'm ok alone but you've got something I need
Well, I've gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key
I think that we should get together
And try them out ya see
I've been lookin' around a while
You got somethin' for me
Oh, I gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key
I ride my bike, I roller skate, don't drive no car
Don't go too fast, but I go pretty far
For somebody who don't drive I've been all around the world
Some people say I've done all right for a girl
Oh yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah-yeah
...
Now I wish I'd had a prom! I want a prom theme!
Not if it's that stupid Tevin Campbell friendship song, you don't. t /still bitter

So how about "Push Push (in The Bush)" or "Push It"? Playground roughhousing?
