Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I'm more likely to have to remember what acronyms stand for than use those mnemonics. The full words work best for me.

The sometimes y thing always throws me. I went to a new school in 3rd grade and they taught the vowels differently than my other school, and I remember feeling stupid because I didn't know their way.
I can't remember what the difference was, just that it made me feel dumb.
