But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

He's still sleeping. I think he wants to make sure he's all rested for the big night.

And...I woke him up, 'cause I forgot to turn off the alarm when I got up. Oh, well. He can nap a lot.

Also, it's already 80 degrees here. Ick. It's gonna be hot today.

There's a distribution center in Chicago, which means there must be ice cream parlors that carry it. If you call, they may be able to tell you where you can find it. [link]

Oh! I'm pretty sure there's a Hershey's ice cream place around the corner from me - Belmont and Broadway. Maybe I'll go do a flavor check for Kalshane later.

Gonna be a scorcher here too.

The one true ice cream is chocolate orange from Toscanini's, in Central Square, Cambridge.

Ooh, I need to try this. I used to love the mandarin orange chocolate sherbert from Baskin-Robbins. So dark and soooo good.

Oh dear Lord, we have a heat index of 110° predicted for today. I'm going to burst into flames. And not in a good way.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Flame on!

And I have a sick fondness for B&R Daquiri Ice.

I used to love this flavour. Then I discovered B&J's cappuchino heath bar crunch and threw over the daquiri ice for it. Mmm. Now I want some, just to see if it's as good as I remember.

I should get an ice cream maker, as I now have a craving for ginger ice cream with bitter chocolate sauce, and making it by hand is a pain.

Really rude commentary on John Roberts:http://rudepundit.blogspot.com/2005/07/luvin-john-roberts-man-oh-man-after.html

And just noting my disappointment in the extension of the Patriot Act by the House.
