Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I believe that "Master Plan" is just another step in their REAL plan.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I, for one, welcome our new Google overlords.

Also, soon we will have Google Heaven and Hell™ that will let you determine the whereabouts of your dead ancestors.

I'm seeing a weird convergence between Google and Sims now.

Don't know if you are still looking for bad statistical examples - but - there was recent survey headlined in parts of the U.S. press showing a 70% approval rating in India for the U.S.. Problems was that it was a telephone survey, and India still has a substantial percent of the population poor enough not own telephones. BTW it was a Pew study, Pew said upfront that they oversampled urban areas; so if the people conducting the survey disclose the problem is it still a problem? I guess it depends on whether you are looking for dishonesty or bad methology. Cause if disclosed it is not dishonest, but bad methodology is still bad methodology.

Timelies, all.

Skipped, well, a lot. Including most of the previous Natter thread.

Hopefully no one else posted this already, but this made me laugh a lot:
