The "50% Divorce Rate" stat is supposably a bad stat. According to my sociology prof many moons ago some news magazine divided the number of marriages in a year by tbe number of divorces in a year -- a method which did not take into account the existing marriages.

Agreed. At work we consider Windows ME a virus, rather than an OS. Probably the fastest way to get an IT guy to cringe is to tell him you're running ME.
