yay for all the good things!
Plei - where is your nearest library? Even if it is a dinky branch they have books you can show the baby and you can order other books to come to you at the dinky branch. probbably movies too. Once a week - maybe once every two weeks. put it on your schedual and o. Take advantage of something your taxes have already paid for.
"Music shouldn't make you want to slit your wrists." Ah, well.(scratches "concept album" off dream list.)
Hee. As it happens, I put up on the dating site that I particularly like the lock-yourself-in-the-garage-with-the-car-running love songs. (It's cathartic! Really! Even if Bec just called them my whingeing white women.)
Library is a good idea. I have most of seasons one and two of Farscape from the library.
I'll make up a new version of the buffista database list and post it in Press and include a "top 10 under 10" pick-me-up list. Does that sound like a good idea?
Ha.I could make all of 'em take day jobs in the suburbs, if, you know, musicianship wasn't too great a factor.
Deena, that sounds fabulous!
VW -- I wanted to get some more recipes emailed to you but I kinda ran out of time before my trip. When I get back I'll get them for you.
Also Grandma E is emailing me several recipes: lemon bar (I emailed this to ita awhile back), banana bread, pecan pie, and turkey dressing.
I don't think I can contribute to the Buffista cookbook. My recipes are like "Put some burrito seasoning and picante sauce and cheese on a chicken breast and stick it in the oven. It will come out suitable to eat" and "Make a quesadilla, but put in turkey slices and picante sauce! It will be suitable to eat."
PC, can I put those in just for the fun of it?
They can go in with my cheesy 'tato dogs. Hee.
P-C, I may send in my father's recipe for franks and beans. Which is basically, "Cook franks. Add beans and pineapple."
You certainly meet that standard.
