I'm kind of glad that he feels close enough to voice his worries, and B's too. But it grates knowing that since we're so close that I'm the one getting the brunt of it.
All I was trying to do was have a fun shower for Bethany that I and others could participate in and not feel bad about what consequences we would have to face after the money was spent.
I admit, I wear my heart as a pair of pants (ventricles are very slimming), and that B knew something was up, but only after people told her I was upset. And that frustrates me.

I've talked to B about it and from her aspect, she wanted it at this hotel (hell, she wanted it at a spa, at first) because she and Ethan have been together for 8 years and she wanted a ritzy shower thing. Fine, I get it. And I support that. But MoH went about everything completely wrong, and, has been ripped a new one from Bride, as I just found out from Bride.
