Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
How goes it at the love shack? Is Andi all settled in now? A place for everything and everything in its place? You two are so full of cute. I grin whenever I see you post within moments of each other.
Er, well, you see... No, the unpacking is not quite done. The roof-rack cargo carrier which contains my winter clothes, blankets, and vast collection of fabric remnants is still lying in the dining room floor. The cats use it as a napping place. Daniel thinks we should replace it after unpacking with a doubled over old cotton-batting mattress.
If you think we are cute here, you should see our IM transcripts, as our computers are not in the same room.
Good morning Daniel. How goes it at the love shack? Is Andi all settled in now? A place for everything and everything in its place? You two are so full of cute. I grin whenever I see you post within moments of each other.
That's the handy thing about having a household LAN (someday? wireless, but now? NSM.) we can be responding to the same post without realizing it.
And no, although we are settling in together nicely, we still havent found places for all. I did clean out the van yesterday of debris fron the trip...
There is still a soft-sided cartop carrier in the dining room, but the cats like sleeping on it, so it's not too much in the way...
Mal just screams "I am such a boy" to me.
The nurses at the embassy said the same thing. Which is good, I guess, given his gender-ambiguous name.
Mallory is ready for books, finally. We've been trying to get him interested in sitting on our laps while we read to him, but he wasn't having any. Now he's into turning pages, though, so I went online to find a couple board books for him.
Me: Should I get him "Pat the Bunny?"
Robert: What's that? Some sort of gender-neutral sex ed book?
Me: (laughs and laughs)
Robert: Well?
Me: Would it help if I said it was a touch-and-feel book for babies?
Robert: This is part of the liberal media's gay agenda, isn't it?
/me blows a kiss to Daniel.
Hee.
Doesn't matter how cute you are together, men seldom want to go shoe shopping with their girlfriends.
Am I the only person who uses her browser's back button to navigate on the web? Am I the only person with a gmail account who gets irritated at the gmail inbox reloading when using the back button? Am I the only irritated person who clicks the back button a dozen times or more, just for the principle? "I said, 'Back!', and I meant 'Back!', so until you actually go BACK!!! I'ma keep clicking!!!!!!"
And Heather, it's so great to "hear" you excited about your new job. We're still waiting for new hair pictures, too, don't forget.
I know. I'm waiting for the zits o doom to go away, or down, before any pics. (And before work tomorrow).
Sorry you had a bad night vw.
And I totally missed saying happy birthday to Fay. Happy Belateds Dear!

Heh. Well, even when you date girls, they still often don't want to go shoe shopping with their girlfriend...Course I do tend to not date the girls that are into shoe shopping. :)
Robert: What's that? Some sort of gender-neutral sex ed book?
Hah! So true, and yet I"m amused as hell that's what his mind immediately goes to!
Aww, I just saw a preview for Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride" (opens 9/23) and thought of Jilli...
Well, even when you date girls, they still often don't want to go shoe shopping with their girlfriend.
God, heaven forfend. My approach to shoe shopping is: I just want the same shoes I had before, only without the holes. Or possibly the same ones I'm wearing, but in a different colour. And
cheaper than that, you crazy bastards!!!!
Ahem.
Hats, scarves and handbags, I can shop for. But not for very long.
Books and DVDs (and, increasingly, comics), however, I can spend hours and hours wandering around and stroking and considering how best to spend my pennies.
Why am I so very very single? Really, in many respects I'm quite blokeish and low maintenance for a girl. And I have nice breasts. And I make Very Good Cake.

...BABY HEDGEHOGS! Yesterday, while somewhat inebriated, we found out that there was a hedgehog living in our garden in a v. cute little hidden nesty thing.
But we've just discovered that there are babies! At least 3! Sooooo cute! About this big.
::is ded from the cute::
