Aww, I just saw a preview for Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride" (opens 9/23) and thought of Jilli...

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Well, even when you date girls, they still often don't want to go shoe shopping with their girlfriend.
God, heaven forfend. My approach to shoe shopping is: I just want the same shoes I had before, only without the holes. Or possibly the same ones I'm wearing, but in a different colour. And cheaper than that, you crazy bastards!!!! Ahem.
Hats, scarves and handbags, I can shop for. But not for very long.
Books and DVDs (and, increasingly, comics), however, I can spend hours and hours wandering around and stroking and considering how best to spend my pennies.
Why am I so very very single? Really, in many respects I'm quite blokeish and low maintenance for a girl. And I have nice breasts. And I make Very Good Cake.

...BABY HEDGEHOGS! Yesterday, while somewhat inebriated, we found out that there was a hedgehog living in our garden in a v. cute little hidden nesty thing.
But we've just discovered that there are babies! At least 3! Sooooo cute! About this big.
::is ded from the cute::
Aww. Baby hedgehogs! Why are there not adorable cute wildlife like that here? We have...rats. And the occasional raccoon or possum.
Fay, I think someone should totally be dating you. What ended up happening with that one boy? You decided he was too ex-pat?
I appear to be Fay, although lacking in hedgehogs. I have chipmunks, though.
I appear to have fallen back to sleep after breakfast/the farmer's market/a little bit of cleaning.
Between that and my power nap from yesterday, I am almost caught up on the sleep I missed this week.
Well, even when you date girls, they still often don't want to go shoe shopping with their girlfriend...Course I do tend to not date the girls that are into shoe shopping. :)
I'm not actually into shoe shopping, but I'm less into not continuing to wear shoes that are worn out, and incidentally causing painful calluses on my feet.
I know, I'm so fussy.
Daniel has, in fact, been shoe-shopping with me. Most of this was shopping for his shoes, however.

Well, I like him well enough, and I've seen him a few times, but (at the risk of being a total cow) it's more a liking thing than a fancying thing, I thnk.

I have rats. Well, they disguise themselves as squirrels. They steal my unripe tomatoes and take a couple of bites, then abandon the rest to rot in my flower garden.

Technicality.
I hate shoe shopping. I always find lovely shoes that don't fit or affordable shoes that don't fit. And then I go and try on the ugly ones, just to see, and of course they fit.
I have a clean house. It hasn't had a deep cleaning for awhile, Mom came by and we scrubbed and put away. My living room lookes more lived in and decorated than before. My closet is still a mess.
We also bathed Anna, she's been shedding like crazy and with the fans going tufts of fur go everywhere. Plus she's hacked up a few hairballs (including on my clean sheets). Giving her a bath was much less traumatic than I thought it would be. We used the hand held shower and scrubbed her down, shampooed her and watched the tufts of fur go down the drain. Then we scrubbed and rinsed and watched more fur go down the drain, we kept this up until she started to get really pissy. I'm pretty sure we could have made a kitten with the fur that we washed off of her.
Then I dried her. And more fur came off. Then I brushed her and still more fur came off.
She's a short haired cat so you'd think she wouldn't be shedding that much.
Since she handled the whole bathing thing fairly well I'm planning on making it a weekly thing.
