Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well, for your sake, I hope whatever it is isn't contagious.

Happy Birthday Mr. Fred, easy-recovery-ma to Mr. Fred's cat. With a side of good-luck-getting-the-cat-to-take-that-@#%$*&!-pill-ma.

Susan - those Annabel stories? DYING from the AWWW. Especially the blankie - so cute!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Kate, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your grandfather sounds like a truly amazing man.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Is JZ around? I just got a flyer saying that the Heart of the Forest Rennfaire was about to pack it in, and I didn't remember if that was the good Bay Area faire or the evil Bay Area faire.

That's the Other Faire, Betsy. JZ's is good to go. In fact, she's starting workshops next weekend.

Isn't JZ having breakfast with La Bug this morning?

My condolences to Kate and her family. What a good man. That was a well-lived life.

Juliana - let it go! You had a triumph of will this week. Also, great hair. Everything else? Probably moot.

Mostly lurking...

Isn't JZ having breakfast with La Bug this morning?

Yes. We had a lovely breakfast. I didn't mention it, 'cause she hadn't mentioned it, and I didn't want to flaunt the bogarting of the JZ. It was wonderful, though, and I get to see her again on Sunday. YAY! Plus, she got to meet Toto and Bastet. Toto just loved her and barked his head off when we left, 'cause he didn't want her to go. Silly boy.

Oh, you should totally flaunt that. God knows, I've had to listen to her breathless "I'm going on a date with Jen!" all week.

All is well that ends in pizza.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Catch a stray cow from the hundreds roaming the streets of New Delhi, haul it to a state shelter and you will be given 2,000 rupees ($46) for your pains.

That's a pretty good haul for that region.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's a pretty good haul for that region.

Yeah, but sometimes, a cow just doesn't want to be caught.

OK, that's all the cow-related wisdom I can offer here....

Ann, that's a ferret.

With a side of good-luck-getting-the-cat-to-take-that-@#%$*&!-pill-ma.

Yes, that'll be the interesting part. We usually do fairly well with Teddy by wrapping him in a towel. And Max and Marie have no front claws, so their attacks are limited.

Up with the sun

Hi. Sorry to burst in with a mememe, but ... my boss just offered Patrick and I some extra tickets to a Nationals game tonight. I know we should go as we don't really have other plans and it's probably good for my career, but I am still nervous and vaguely flail-y about it. Please tell me that Patrick and I will be charming and friendly and I will not drink too much beer and end up making a fool of myself. Thanks.
