I do not get the athletic shoe with heel thing.
{brenda} Good luck with the doctor.
That's a lot of nails, askye. I always find going to get a tire turns into a whole lot of stuff needing to be done that I can't afford.
[show/=shoe, wuwt?]

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It seems like over the last month or so, altogether too many Bitches were unwell. Now, too many have various assorted other problems. Much ~ma and {{{}}} to all who need it. May your meds work appropriately and make you feel better, and may resolvable problems resolve well, and may you feel support in coping with those problems that just aren't going to go away.
Returning to the land of the trivial, I'm getting a haircut after DH's next payday, or after he gets a fair-sized freelance payment he's expecting for some web work he did week before last.
I've also discovered DH lurks here much more than I'd previously suspected....
Awwww. In this context, this is so sweet and so cute. Also, probably good to know for the future!
IOmeN, I love my new haircut, and all of the wonderful compliments that are coming from it, but things are starting to get a bit out of hand. A friend wants to include pictures in my state professional association newsletter. Eek!
JZ, I love those first ones and the third ones look like Tango shoes. Lovely.
Oh, ita, thank goodness. Though I'm still thoroughly boggled that the original price for those shoes was almost $300. That's every bit as deeply wrong (though in a very different way) as the recent conversation in Natter.
Don't they, Megan? Though if I had the money I'd happily invest it in real tango shoes. I prostrate myself helplessly before those shoes.
WANT
Oh, my, YES.
In news not related to anything, Jurassic Park is a pretty good movie to clean to. enough parts that are quiet - so I don't have to stare at the tv, but enough action so I can be distracted.
I have been dreaming up outfits to wear with these [link] since yesterday. Bias-cut plum velvet and a dark red cashmere cardigan with lavendar velvet ribbon trim, anyone?
Also, is this where I announce I cut my hair shorter? I took in Anne W.'s pictures - printed 'em right out - and said, "make mine like this in the back." And he did, and I love it. Pictures, maybe tomorrow.
((Susan)) So sorry to hear about your father. As so many people have said, it's good that you had a visit with him so recently. You are so wonderfully gifted with words, that I believe you will be able to make him real for Annabel. In a more practical vein, when my DH's mother entered Hospice care in a state far away from us, I started to make sure I spoke with the Hospice nurse for updates in addition to my hubby. It took some of the pressure off him to keep me informed if he wasn't in the mood to talk about it and I got all of my questions answered (some things my husband didn't want to ask or wasn't ready for).
((brenda)) Feel better. Do tell your doctor that this pattern has to change.
I am trying to decide if it is a good thing that none of those shoes are in my size. It keeps me from buying them, but doesn't much help the feeling of wanting.
