Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Don't they, Megan? Though if I had the money I'd happily invest it in real tango shoes. I prostrate myself helplessly before those shoes.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

WANT

Oh, my, YES.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

In news not related to anything, Jurassic Park is a pretty good movie to clean to. enough parts that are quiet - so I don't have to stare at the tv, but enough action so I can be distracted.

I have been dreaming up outfits to wear with these [link] since yesterday. Bias-cut plum velvet and a dark red cashmere cardigan with lavendar velvet ribbon trim, anyone?

Also, is this where I announce I cut my hair shorter? I took in Anne W.'s pictures - printed 'em right out - and said, "make mine like this in the back." And he did, and I love it. Pictures, maybe tomorrow.

Librarian Warlord

((Susan)) So sorry to hear about your father. As so many people have said, it's good that you had a visit with him so recently. You are so wonderfully gifted with words, that I believe you will be able to make him real for Annabel. In a more practical vein, when my DH's mother entered Hospice care in a state far away from us, I started to make sure I spoke with the Hospice nurse for updates in addition to my hubby. It took some of the pressure off him to keep me informed if he wasn't in the mood to talk about it and I got all of my questions answered (some things my husband didn't want to ask or wasn't ready for).

((brenda)) Feel better. Do tell your doctor that this pattern has to change.

I am trying to decide if it is a good thing that none of those shoes are in my size. It keeps me from buying them, but doesn't much help the feeling of wanting.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Anne is an inspiration! Yay, pictures.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Perkins! Guess what I got in the mail?!?

This could be fun! (and it sounds like I don't want to go into Natter)

What should Teppy have gotten in the mail?

Ewan McGregor?

A new car?

A big huge billboard that says " I, Steph L., do really and truly suck"?

Very funny, missy. Very funny....

I should really stop internet shopping. But it's so fun!

I can't decide if I like this skirt

Ooooh, nice gown

Amusing, but not worth $60.

Not a bad price for a cute velour-y velvet coat.

Pretty (but short) black velvet jacket.

Vavavavoooom.

Coding and Sleeping

I got this message from my wife about Leif.

Okay, the kids were at my parents' house yesterday for a time. Leif insisted he wanted his portable playpen set up so he could take a nap. While my mother left the room for 30 seconds to get something for it, he did something which scares me silly. He did not actually take a nap, but when I picked them up and my mother grabbed his blankie from the bed, she found a match and a box of matches carefully hidden under it. When Leif saw those, he said, "Those are matches. They are for starting fires!"

He just turned 3. I wonder if he'll make it to 6? Or if our house will?

Leif is just scary sometimes. Gotta keep an eye on that little guy.
