This is a time of celebration, so sit still and be quiet.

Trust my rage

I'm only part way though the pictures, but Toto is such a cutie. I love the pictures of him eating his pizza.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Aww! Cutiehead birthday doggie!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Those were great - looks like Toto passed out from fun. He was very cute and shinny. ( did you use Dawn's hairdresser for him? )

Fruit flies don't have to be from poor housekeeping. They can come in fruit or veggies and then hatch. Sadly - the only way to get rid o fthem is to put all the frits and veggies in the fridge so that the next generation has nothing to eat. Happily, 24 to 48 hours will usually do it.

It looks like Wally is moving forward . yay .

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hooray for the Wally report. Also, yay for Toto and his fabulous party. The pictures are adorable, and it looks like everyone had a great time. The apartment looks sooper spriffy, too. Toto is indeed very shiny and beautiful.

ChiKat, that tiara is awesome! He should consider making them for sale--a little crafts business could fund weekend getaways, or something.

Our expected guests for this afternoon have neither turned up nor called. Hmm. Can't seem to motivate to come up with alternate plans. We'll probably stay home and Foreman grill the burgers, rather than cooking out. It's a lot of mess and cleanup for just us, especially since it's furnace-hot and rainforest muggy out there. I wanna go see Howl's Moving Castle again, but we may do that next week. We've still got a Netflix dvd to watch, and DH and I are both sort of locked-in to the books we're reading at the moment, so I guess Sloth R Us, at least for today.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Great pictures, vw! Toto is quite adorable, and as beth said, wow the shiny.

Elbow hurts. Stoopid table.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Saturdays are the best. Here's what's on my agenda:

  • Pedicure (done)
  • Lunch with GF somewhere yummy
  • Movie
  • General lounging in the evening

Tomorrow I have to work, but today it is SATURDAY!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Me, I plan to spend a LOT of money today.

Some of it is for the bro's wedding (or I can tenuously connect it to needing it for the trip):

* stockings and other "foundation garments"
* shoooooooooz
* skirts/shorts/one of those intriguing wee things called "shrugs" that are like a dwarf cardigan (the dresses I plan to wear in VT are sleeveless, and Vermont weather, even in August, can get cool, especially at night)

And some of it is just plain self-indulgence:

* about a month's worth of comics

And practical shit:

* groceries

Just doing my part for the economy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm fiddling with my iTunes playlists. NeoGlam is now up to two discs.

JZ and Emmett are out running errands (Emmett being lured by a stop at the local magic shop. And don't you wish you had a local magic shop?).

It's ridiculously gorgeous in San Francisco today. I am very sorry for everybody that doesn't live here today.

Tep, if you've got a second could you IM?
