"Don' be e-scared"

I can't tell you how much it's like "Cannonball Run" as I've never actually seen "Cannonball Run." Nor had I seen an episode of "The Amazng Race" until we'd finished developing "Drive." (I've seen the seasons that are on DVD now and love it.) Never saw "Gumball Rally" either. Car-centric things bore me.

So I bet this lessens the chance of a Dom DeLuise cameo? That's it. I'm not watching.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I totally dig Cannonball Run. I know I'm supposed to feel guilty about it, but I don't. (And I totally didn't mean the Cannonball Run reference as any snarky swipe at Tim. I guess I was just using the same annoying shorthand reference that you always see people doing when you see fictional representations of people doing "pitches".)

I've never seen The Amazing Race, either. I don't actually see much TV at the moment. You see, I had no idea that modern TVs don't get shit for reception out of the box. I have these newfangled TVs that don't get any of the broadcast stuff except for very snowy reception of the local Chinese channel. And I'm pissed off enough about it that I have refused to go to Radio Shack and buy rabbit ears. Eventually, when the house is done and I have to get housemates, I'll get DirecTV. In the meantime, I'm going without. I see select new shows as my friend turns me on to them at his house.

Car-centric things bore me.

Aw, man, but Wacky Races was so cooooool. How could one resist the epic villainy of Dick Dastard and Muttley?

One Hot Burrito!

It is late. I am battling the insomnia, but I must chime in (if belatedly):

Alan Ruck!

That is all.

Strawberry disappointment.

Car-centric things bore me.

You say that now, but wait till you see The Fast and the Furious. Genuis on a stick.

Battlestart Galatica, marshall law. Cause? Coffee. Or non-supply thereof.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

A dribble more of casting news: Alan Ruck in da house. Or da car. Or something.

This is an elaborate SPEED joke waiting to happen, isn't it? Which means it's also possibly an elaborate Joss Whedon joke...

All is well that ends in pizza.

Cannonball Run was a cheesy star-studded remake of The Gumball Rally.

Not that I didn't like the cheese at the time, but the original has a bit more style.

I just hope DRIVE follows the ROBOT CHICKEN homage to TCR and Headless Ponch wins the race.
