Rob Corddry is almost one of my precise types (you know the one, Bon), but he skeeves me
big
time. Maybe it's because he's so close and yet so far.
I think a lot of Jon Stewart's cute comes with his brains. Even buff, he's not remarkable to look at. Then he opens his mouth and is hotness incarnate.
Sort of how half my brain tells me Dave Chappelle is hot, and the other half tells me to shut up and listen to his material.
If I were going to suggest looking like a comedian, I'd pick Craig Campbell -- except he's now all about
not
looking as good as he used to (he was painfully, breath-stoppingly, straight-men-talked-about-it pretty, and then he said "fuck that"). Ah, well. He's kinda more attractive for making that choice.
Please tell me that's the after-picture of Craig Campbell.
I hope so bon. I can see potential in his eyes.
That's totally after. I may, somewhere in my files, have a wee picture of the before -- during his clean-cut biker phase. I doubt I have any of his slightly-scruff hiker phase, and the tape of his appearance is probably sodden with NOLA water right now.
After that, he started to host Ed The Sock and went right into lounge grunge, and seemed very relieved. Still magnetic and attractive in person, but actively working agains the pretty.
I have this as an update -- I don't like most of the screencaps because a) I have a lousy memory for the show, and b) they're mid motion, and motion is what he does best.
He needs a Flaunt shoot, and stat.
I think if we're talking comedians and people who are hottest when in motion, Dane Cook should be mentioned. Still pictures are kind of so-so, but when the guy is moving he's smoking hot.
If ita can't like Adam Carolla b/c he disses Andy Kindler, I note Dane Cook: joke thief. (Scroll to the bottom.)

Yes. But I can't find a guy hot unless he comes across as smart. It's a thing.
But I can't find a guy hot unless he comes across as smart.
How useful is looking like Jon, then? If you're smart enough to be hot, does it matter how you look? And if so, why not shoot higher (or at the very least, taller)?
