Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Joss said Amber would be back.

I thought Joss wanted Amber back and it just didn't work out. I know he talked about the episode he had planned for Tara's return at Wizard World Chicago last year.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and it just didn't work out.

It didn't work out because Amber said, "No." She thought she'd be betraying the fans by having Tara come back as only a front for the First Evil.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't see where you're going with citing the sole thing, or Joss's casting intentions. What do they have to do with him giving more detail on the show bible?

I may have to seize the cat.

It will be revealed that Ida Moon did not actually rip the pony's face off. No, the pony ripped off its own face because its attempts to understand Ida drove it to madness.

It just didn't realize that all Ida's rage came from the fact that no one could pronounce her name correctly.

I don't think there is a show bible. Joss says what he means at the time, but he also doesn't lock himself in. He's actually mentioned not giving too much back story in the shows, so that he's not written into a corner.

I may have to seize the cat.

He's not above rewriting backstory if it doesn't suit his goal at the moment.

Okay, canon. Not show bible. Joss explaining what was canon at the moment. What does that have to do with his casting intentions? And I have no idea what the sole thing is supposed to mean. They seem to be three concepts, related mostly by the word Joss.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I interpreted that post as meaning "Joss makes shit up for fun and should not necessarily be believed."

I would have too, except it's not news, and I'm not sure what it has to do with anything. But I'm talking in circles. So I'm gonna stop.

Mentioning the sole was just a Joss says all sorts of things kind of comment, ita. I'm sorry it was so confusing. What Joss mostly says is, "Trust the tale, not the teller," and that's something he said at the Bronze, I think, so maybe it isn't fandom wide. What it meant to me is, believe was, "Believe what my shows say onscreen, not what I might say in random interviews."
