River: You're not right, Early. You're not righteous. You've got issues. Early: No. Oh, yes, I could have that. You might have me figured out, then. Good job. I'm not 100%.

The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Quit.

It took me nine more months of agony, but I did! Fuck that Ph.D. shit; I now have a Master's. Now I need a fucking job.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Right, so it's intent to fuck. I am allowed to be squicked by intent to fuck grampa.

He never gets near her with his wrinkle beast.

If I only had a brain...

I was gonna say that pretty much I feel if someone criticizes a writer I like, they're criticizing me, but that's just not so.

That is what makes it so hard to recommend books. But ita is perfect! And this book is perfect! And if ita doesn't love this book, then maybe it isn't perfect, and now she won't like me any more!

[no actual itas were hurt in the making of this posting.]

I may have to seize the cat.

Now I need a fucking job.

You and me both.

Right, so it's intent to fuck. I am allowed to be squicked by intent to fuck grampa.

I thought it was just understood he would fall asleep so there wasn't even intent. I thought it was a formality. (I still find the line marriage slightly squicky, but I assumed that was a problem in me, not the book.)

If I only had a brain...

I am off to get bleach to remove the phrase "wrinkle beast" from my brain.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

He never gets near her with his wrinkle beast.

He never gets near her with his wrinkle beast.

But grampa still has first bite at the apple. Not being able to get it up doesn't bleach the concept from my brain pan.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

He's too old to fuck, is what I'm getting at.

That should be a Dead Kennedys song.

May strike a little too close to home for Jello for that song ever to see the light of day.
