I should get big basic cable, but I'm cheap, so I pay $20 for networks, the Jesus station, QVC, and what we call the Channel channel. It's a live picture of the Gastineau Channel with classical music in the background. Alas, no SciFi.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I never saw Strange World. I always get it confused with Harsh Realm, which I did see. I liked that show.
Would totally buy the Inside on DVD, with or without SW.
Strange World.
Harsh Realm.
Good vs. Evil
Brimstone.
Shows I missed.
I'd need a whole website to list all the shows I've missed. After the cancellation of "Freaks & Geeks," it seems, I grew very bitter about primetime TV.
Meanwhile...
No, seriously. What did I say to offend you, Kristen? Which show did I harsh on that you loved? If turnabout is fair play, then feel free to harsh on any shows I happen(ed) to enjoy. Just ask, and I'll give you the list.
Tim's deal is with 20th, the studio, and not FBC, the network.
So, technically speaking, he doesn't have to shop his projects to FOX only. He could pitch ideas to, say, FX? Or CBS?
Brimestone was quite ok, but the loss of Good vs. Evil still makes me weep sometimes.
Tim on FX would be really nice, but they seem to be a bit picky nowadays.
Can anyone translate Boreanazese?
I know what the writer means, although my own affection for DB has been increased by those occasions that I've met him, non sequiturs and all. By contrast, some of the shine does rub off Christian Kane without a Mutant Enemy script as a buffer between him and the audience.

Not if it's replaced by Prince lyrics, for me.
Oh admittedly, while he's singing? Golden. But the morning (and afternoon) after a night on the town is Not Pretty in any sense of the word.

Anyone I know who has met him has had nothing but nice things to say about him, and on the DVD commentary, it seems to me that more than once, Joss has commented on what a sweetheart he is. I think I told the story here, or maybe in one of the other threads, about my Bronzer friend who was a valet at his house, for one of his parties. She said that both he and his father went out of their way to make sure the valets were comfortable, and having as good a time as you can when working a party, and were chatty with them. To me, that's a Hollywood equivalent of the "someone who's nice to the waiter is nice" tool of assessment.
