I know what the writer means, although my own affection for DB has been increased by those occasions that I've met him, non sequiturs and all.
Yeah. Anyone I know who has met him has had nothing but nice things to say about him, and on the DVD commentary, it seems to me that more than once, Joss has commented on what a sweetheart he is. I think I told the story here, or maybe in one of the other threads, about my Bronzer friend who was a valet at his house, for one of his parties. She said that both he and his father went out of their way to make sure the valets were comfortable, and having as good a time as you can when working a party, and were chatty with them. To me, that's a Hollywood equivalent of the "someone who's nice to the waiter is nice" tool of assessment.
Nothing mutually exclusive aobout being nice and nonsensical, of course. In fact, I think I'd take a decent human who confuses me over creep who is brilliantly articulate. Actually, I know I would.

Someone is offering replicas of the reading monkey from Wonderfalls on eBay. They look like good reproductions, and they're reasonably priced. I'm buying a pair.
It says: "These monkeys are identical to the inanimate one used on the set of the show." Wonder if anyone would bid on this thinking it would actually move and talk??
Zenkitty, they sell them at Barnes and Noble. I got my brother one (I'm saving the other for...someone else. Yeah, that's the ticket).
