I don't think I can make myself play a full 20. Scott and I just finished watching Prophecy Girl a few minutes ago.
The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Pretty much the only good to come out of the whole Saint Cordy fiasco was all the excellent snark it inspired.
I've never quite forgiven Tim for hairloaf junior. That was the beginning of the end for me. I realize I'm in the minority on that.
really? not in my corner of the fandom. there was very little love for junior. i couldn't stand him either. i even hated baby connor for turning Angel into a coo-ing/gagagoogoo idiot.

I'm greatful that they managed to give her a proper send-off (thank you David Fury), but I would have traded it in a nano-second if we'd avoided the suckitude in the first place. I didn't mind evil!Cordy, now with Jasmine upgrade, but everything about the (c)Rapture/pod!Cordelia was just awful.
I swore that the entire Connor arc was Minear's way of scaring us all into double bagging.

BWAH!! so glad i wasn't drinking anything when i read that.
If baby connor had just disappeared into Quortoth, I would have been okay with it all. I hated VK Connor so much.
Check it: When did Angel "Jump the Shark?"
Personally for me it was when baby Connor returned as teen Connor.
I liked teen Connor, and though his whiny phase was unpleasant I very much enjoyed his last several appearances.
Cordy ascending was the absolute pits, however. That really derailed the show for a while. On the plus side, it gave us more time to focus on Bitter!Wes and that was fun.
While I wasn't crazy about VK's portrayal, I thought Angsty Teen Connor had his uses. The infant version was only palatable to me in "Loyalty" and "Sleep Tight" when it looked like he might be pretty palatable to Angel, too...
I guess "Jump the Shark" choice depends on your definition. The show's best moment to me was the end of "Reunion," so everything was technically downhill from that point (though still very very good). There was a marked drop in quality with the Pylea arc, which ended the series' golden age. But I agree with Hec that the Crapture in "Tomorrow" was the absolute lowest point.
