Ouch! I just finished watching the episode because I was intereruppted with a phone call, and all I can say in, ouch. That episode actually hurt to watch. In a good way. I think. I didn't see the end coming at all. The rosepetals were a nice touch in the final scene.
I hope the preview is a major misdirect. I am going to theorize that someone is obsessed with Locke and is the real criminal next week. I am probably totally wrong.
Hm. That didn't strike me as salf-sacrificing so much as just a lie.
But I don't pretend to understand why Web is leaving his gun on the desk and getting out, that could be why.
According to the laws of Joss, this means you're going to marry him.
Well, feel free to fling him through the walls of a collapsing house to test PC's theory.
Or just DO him and turn him evil.
Well, he's not unattractive... so that one seems like a win-win for me. Send him over.
Hm. That didn't strike me as salf-sacrificing so much as just a lie.
Plus, he may have done it for himself as well. Did you see how he was freaking when Paul had quit? He needs him, for whatever reasons.
I liked the, "I'm done being the heart you never had" line.
Damn. I repeat, damn.
If FOX decides to shelve the series before next week's episode I'm going to be even more pissed off then the combined loss of Firefly and Wonderfalls going before their time.
Only 7 left. Please FOX. Air them. For me? I mean, uh, us. Yeah, for us.
Dude! Who was he?!
ummm...i don't really know. imdb says he was Jeremy in Like A Virgin. i may have to rewatch. such a hardship.
I'm wondering this, too. Maybe it's connected to the guy he shot dead in the first episode? On top of tons of other crap he's gotten away with, I'm sure.
good call, Denise. also? *smooooooch*
Paul's dreamy in a black shirt.
that episode was the first time i've ever gotten that "guh" reaction. i blame the black shirt.

Maybe I phrased that poorly. I don't mean that Web actually did something self-sacrificing. But when I try and get in Paul's head, I can see it as a thing that Paul might perceive as self-sacrificing. (He said he gave Paul those orders, the higher-ups say they were shitty orders, Web goes buhbye...)
I don't know if I believe Web would ever do anything self-sacrificing. I want to know what makes him tick. Getting the job done is his thing, but why does he care so much that it get done?

I checked. He was the Fennels' squatter who wouldn't go away.
Oh! Ok, I can see Paul thinking that way. Now that you've explained it to me, anyway.
