The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi Ali! My ass didn't call you. I feel like a bad friend.

Good luck with the job. What is it?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, you wouldn't sit down with a nice bowl of strawberries and butter, either.

You could dip the straberries in melted butter, then roll them in jimmies. Or mineature chocolate chips.

What is even happening?

A world of EWWWWWWW. Of course, so's margarine.

Agreed, but I non-dairy creamer in coffee inhabits a whole different world of Ewww for me than does margarine. At least the n-d c pretends to be milky. Evil-ex and his grammie were in another life, but from what little memory remains, the margarine really just oil-ified the coffee.

tommyrot, you are hereby forbidden any more strawberries. If you're going to treat them like that, you're not worthy.

I didn't say I'd do that; it was just a hypothetical.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Stawberries in melted butter doesn't sound like it would suck. There can be melted butter with strawberry shortcake, can't there? (The biscuit kind.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

No, I don't think so. I'm thinking that's a whipped cream situation. Biscuit + butter + strawberries /= strawberry shortcake, it's just a buttered bisuit with berries.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have chocolate milk. The world can rest.

I had weird dreams -- the sort that on waking seem like they should have been nightmares, but at the time, all the oddity was taken as perfectly normal. Which is having a hell of a lingering effect, as I become more and more disturbed at not having been disturbed.

Coding and Sleeping

Thanks, Gud! How are you?

Health: fine, Job: fine, Kids: great, Marriage: ugh. It's a mixed bag.

Oh sure, there's definitely whipped cream. Now I'm thinking you use melted butter to make the biscuits? I can just see melted butter and strawberries in my past and am trying to put it together.
