"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Crap on a stick. I think I'll have to go to the doctor to have them look at my foot, after all, as I'm sitting here at my desk with one leg slung up on top of my paperwork to combat the swelling. Although now I feel no guilt for staying home yesterday and keeping my foot on ice.

I have a Rabbit with Big Pointy Teeth.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

My favorite part of the description of the plush Gilly is this: "The first plush with actual cleavage!"

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

That bit of descriptive text makes my skin crawl, actually. I don't think they needed to say that.

I have *no* motivation to do work today. None. I want to go home and work on some sewing projects. I want to go rummaging through thrift stores. I want to go to the zoo. I do NOT want to be at work, explaining to PMs that really, all the correct information is right there in the document labled UI Text Final, and no, the editors have not been sneaking in and changing things behind their backs.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I've just decided I am leaving early. I am taking some stuff home, changing into comfy clothes, going to buy myself an iPod, and then going to therapy.

This week is being a little too good.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dalek theft sparks a Who-dunnit

No!

The owners of a Somerset visitors' attraction are offering a £500 reward after a full-size Dalek was stolen.

The 5ft model, believed to be an original from the cult BBC Dr Who series, was taken from Wookey Hole Caves near Wells overnight on Monday.

Bosses say it is worth thousands of pounds and promise to pay the reward for its safe return "or capture".

A spokesman said: "There may be a black market out there for Daleks - but it's still a strange thing to steal."

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Happy quitting day!

My day is worst, but I've put the details in Bitches, and I'm typed out. However, I think I am inspired by Megan and may go shopping this evening. I think I will purchase sandals for my trip Outside. I may even get to use them here this year, if heat at the start of the summer is any indication.

Stealing someone's Dalek is wrong.

I'm sorry for the badness of some of the days around here today. That's no good.

May day got really good about two hours ago, because I? Have a kicky new haircut. That's right - it's kicky. I've had many haircuts over the years - never once would I have called one kicky. I like it so much, it's sick. Much shorter than usual. (But, wow, grey, grey everywhere, and grey does nothing for my complexion but bad things). There will be a color appointment next week. Oh, yes. There will. Still -- kicky.)

What an excellent summer this is. There will be pictures after coloring right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Juggling lessons are in process. Power's out, and those people whose computers weren't plugged into UPS outlets aren't bothering to ... plug them into UPS outlets. Instead, they're juggling.

Slackers!
