Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Happy quitting day!

My day is worst, but I've put the details in Bitches, and I'm typed out. However, I think I am inspired by Megan and may go shopping this evening. I think I will purchase sandals for my trip Outside. I may even get to use them here this year, if heat at the start of the summer is any indication.

Stealing someone's Dalek is wrong.

I'm sorry for the badness of some of the days around here today. That's no good.

May day got really good about two hours ago, because I? Have a kicky new haircut. That's right - it's kicky. I've had many haircuts over the years - never once would I have called one kicky. I like it so much, it's sick. Much shorter than usual. (But, wow, grey, grey everywhere, and grey does nothing for my complexion but bad things). There will be a color appointment next week. Oh, yes. There will. Still -- kicky.)

What an excellent summer this is. There will be pictures after coloring right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Juggling lessons are in process. Power's out, and those people whose computers weren't plugged into UPS outlets aren't bothering to ... plug them into UPS outlets. Instead, they're juggling.

Slackers!

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I need math-motivation. I've only got two chapters left of the workbook, but I'm getting a bit bogged down.

I'll try for pictures after coloring. I dont' have a digicam, though. Even better? If I like this as much as I think I do... may even go a teensy bit shorter before the beach trip in August. Crazy!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just got spam that said "No one will ever truly care for you". Why they gotta bring me down like that?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Is 4:30 ever going to get here?

I feel like I'm in that Tiny Toons cartoon where Plucky Duck is desperately watching the clock, hoping the 3:00 bell rings before he gets called on. And the clock keeps slipping backward....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I have an RSS feed for amazon deals (dealazon)...it's showing me a RAZR for $150 for Cingular customers. I'm not a Cingular customer, but that's like a $450 discount. FYI.
