What is even happening?

Nilly, how does the school year run for you, as a grad student?

What is even happening?

Also, what was the context of "slavering werespawn"?
This needs context? Okay, tommyrot. I need to see your Buffista i.d. card, right now.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Also, what was the context of "slavering werespawn"?

Slavering werespawn, as in "Dear slavering werespawn".

Did you put "phrenology" in your list of hobbies?

Yup. And I told 'em I'd added them to my phrends list.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's a bit in IMDB about how Princess Di boinked JFK Jr, but that's not the point. It includes the following sentence:

She had more love to give than any men could take and when it came down it, I think he found her too needy

Ignoring the grammar, what's with too much to give and too needy? How are those related?

In the theme of sentences without sense, Versace on Demi:

Her presence is magnetic because it is entirely natural and never forced.

Did he not see GI Jane? Natural?

Swouncing

That's what the next date is for.

It's been a while since I had a "next date". But I still remember to try not to take notes during the date itself. Hmm, maybe that's what I've been doing wrong all along.

how does the school year run for you, as a grad student?

I'm TAing during the schoolyear (usually, late October to June, with exams ending by July-August), and that's when I'm taking classes, as well (though I just have to hand in one more paper in my History and Philosophy of Science class, and that concludes the classes I have to take for my degree). The research - the actual work - takes place all the time, though, without any specific dates or the like. During the schoolyear, naturally, with all the other things to do, it doesn't progress in the pace it should (also, see above, re: me being slow), so I hope that the summer will be a good chance to at least begin to catch up.

move out and draw fire

Magnetic? Presence?

I was just wondering how I'd go about dating if I suddenly found myself single. Speed dating seems fairly promising - it's in person, so you don't have to be concerned that the picture isn't accurate, and I get a better read from people in person than in writing. And it's on neutral turf, with no commitment.

I mean, I never really dated before getting married, just went out with guys from gaming (the odds were good, but the goods were odd) or school. So I'm clueless. How do adults date?

My mom used to say, when we were kids, that the best sign for somebody feeling better is when they start complaining that they're bored.

My mother called it acting like a wounded tiger. Apparently my brother and I were rather surly.

Not much has changed.....

Very steamy outside. But, thunderstorms! Theoretically, anyway.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This needs context? Okay, tommyrot. I need to see your Buffista i.d. card, right now.

I just wanted to know if he was refering to the woman he was writing, or their hypothetical offspring.

How do adults date?

Starts laughing. Not hysterically.

Someone else will have to answer this. I'm more likely to have a meteor crash through the trunk of my car.
