Ignoring the grammar, what's with too much to give and too needy? How are those related?
Maybe they're assuming that the giveage demands a response. Or at least being physically present.
Or maybe it's just that concerns such as grammar are deemed signs of a small mind when in the presence of Princess Di.
My radio is playing "Living On The Ceiling"! It's going to get headpats for that.
I'm off to go pick up the DH, as we got mail today, so rather than making him walk the 5 miles home in the heat with boxes, I will load the baby into the car and go get him. Of course, Mal fell asleep exactly 3 minutes ago, so great timing there.
See y'all later.
I think it's officially over for TomKat. In the little free newspaper, there was this caption to a picture of them:
Katie Holmes gives fiance Tom Cruise the heimlich as he chokes on his own craziness at the premiere of "War of the Worlds" on Thursday at Midtown's Ziegfield Theatre.
Note: This was not on the snarky gossip page.
In work news, I was relieved to find the letter I left for the messenger on Thursday was not still here. Phew!
Also, I'm a little confused because AIM says my boss is active, but I can't hear him typing. Is he here or not? Who knows.
How do adults date?
You mean other than blind-dates set up by friends (oh, and others who think that if two people are in the same age range that's enough for them to find true love forever or at least finally realize that they never will and just get married already and give their parents grandchildren and some comfort. Um, not that I've ever met any of these.)? I have no idea.
Nilly, you are still here!
Earlier, you asked:
Are the cats all settled, as well? And all the new-job-messes?
Yes on the cats. The new job is getting better, and more settled.
You mean other than blind-dates set up by friends
Man, I wish my friends would set me up on blind dates. I've got nothing!!
The new job is getting better
Yay on the right direction, then.
I wish my friends would set me up on blind dates.
I occasionally ask, let them know that it's something I'm interested in. However, I think that in my circle, since that's the most common way for a man and a woman to meet (other than the "Fiddler on the Roof"-style matchmaker), the possibilities for such dates are more present in people's minds, both married and single.
I've got a friend who says I've been slowly killing her because I will not let her set me up. For nearly 8 years.
In theory, I'm indifferent. But her? Uh, no. She's a flaming romantic and would get way too invested. It's kinda freaky, actually.
Grokster decision's in. Grokster lost.
