Hey! Dammit, I had a post! Freaking new Netscape.
Anyway, I was bitching and moaning about our apartment, where it takes a good five minutes to get hot water, so not so much on the patience issue. Then, once I was done being all about me and my problems, I was going to tell ita about the special fancy-schmancy defrosting ice cream scoops, of which we have one. Like this, for instance. It's fantastic. I never understood how people got satisfactory scoops of ice cream before.
The other week, when I was with my family, my grandmother gave me shit for putting "too much ice cream" on the desserts. My question to the group is this: Is that even possible?? Is there such a thing as too much ice cream??
Is that even possible?? Is there such a thing as too much ice cream??
Not in any world *I* want to live in....
I have a scoop like that! And, no such thing as too much ice cream.
Abalone?
Sea snail of much tastiness. And the inside of the shell is pretty.
Is there such a thing as too much ice cream??
Not in my experience.
Is there such a thing as too much ice cream??
Nope. I just had a double scoop hot fudge sundae and it wasn't nearly enough.
As someone still determined to finish a pint at a sitting, yes, so far there is too much ice cream.
Emily!!1! I just went to Cook's Illustrated to see what they had to say on the topic, and they agree with you.
Oddly, my wife doesn't like ice cream. I've never really understood this.
Is there such a thing as too much ice cream??
Yes. More than a spoonful.
(severe pain will make it so.)
Sometimes I miss it. Mostly not.
