Every time I drive past the old armory during a gun show, I'm reminded I want to learn to shoot someday.
And then I forget until the next time I go by it.
My dad keeps telling me he'll take me out when I'm home, but he never has. I think it is because he doesn't want to deal with mom's glares. (She REALLY doesn't like having a weapon in the house, even though he keeps it broken down, parts stored in 2 different safes and the ammo in a lockbox elsewhere.)
"And if you took that as the image of what is a great city that has an incredible quality of life and an incredible economy, it's amazing to me. Go to Iraq. And see what's actually happening there... Everybody that comes from Iraq is amazed at the difference of what they see on the ground and what they see on the television set."
He says this as if any of us could actually go to Iraq right now and get proof of that claim.
Congratulations to you and the Mr., amych!!!
Woohoo Amych!!!!! and Mr. Amych!!!!!!!

Does learning to shoot count?
How about learning trig? Dammit. I knew I should've gotten married instead. This is just like when I chose Betamax.
congrats Amych and new DH!
What's your plan for learning to shoot, ita?
This is just like when I chose Betamax.
You need to be careful about choosing those proprietary lifestyles.
Like learn to shoot and surf at the same time?
I can't believe nobody else immediately thought:
Skeet, skeet! Skeet surfing!
Also, congrats to amych.
