"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Does learning to shoot count?

How about learning trig? Dammit. I knew I should've gotten married instead. This is just like when I chose Betamax.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What's your plan for learning to shoot, ita?

Coding and Sleeping

This is just like when I chose Betamax.

You need to be careful about choosing those proprietary lifestyles.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Like learn to shoot and surf at the same time?

I can't believe nobody else immediately thought: Skeet, skeet! Skeet surfing!

Also, congrats to amych.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I can't believe nobody else immediately thought: Skeet, skeet! Skeet surfing!

I thought it.

I just got to hold a 12 day old kitten. So wee!

(also got to hold it when it was 5 days old. One of the staff found it and is handraising it.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's your plan for learning to shoot, ita?

My plan is to go with the cops and listen very carefully.

It's a raw plan, but I think it has promise.

Shooting is fun. Being here in the wide-open West, no one quibbles if you go out into the hinterlands and plink at cans. They object to bottles, because of the broken glass thing, but the favorite spots are pretty well carpeted with spent casings.

We have freaked out people because of our tendency to use stuffed Barneys as targets, though.

Hubby wants to buy me a gun, and my Eastern Liberal soul only said, "I want a gun like Scully has! She's a tiny person, so her gun would fit me."
