It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

What is even happening?

Anyone ever heard of Joyce Myers? We had to dodge a whole lot of people going to hear her speak on our way downtown to the Latin Festival. I think she's a religious speaker. I didn't really pay attention, since I was focused on getting the best chicken chimichanga in the world.

She is. I have never listened to her. I don't do the TV people. I know people who think she's great, and people who think she's not so. I haven't yet been able to figure out (from my own assessment of these people) who's more likely to be right about her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My moviemate mentioned that the guy next to me was really into it, and the more I got into it, the more he got into it.

Which made me feel a little paranoid, but hey! Batman! I'm glad I saw it with her, since she's my action movie partner, but I need more! And if I had a spouse that intended to see it, I think not having seen it yet would be better than the gushus interruptus that would no doubt ensue.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

....er, I don't mean I have a Zmayhem crush in a ménage à trois way. Though you're both lovely to look at. Just so we're clear I'm not being creepy.

Or, maybe I *am,* but at least not in the ménage à trois way.

That's just sort of, yucky and porny.

Stop that! It's perfectly valid mob mentalityaudience synergy.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Awww, Teppy, no need to reassure me about your menageity. I already had you pegged as strictly folie-à-deux creepy.

Gnyargh. I give up. Sort of. Hec, what are the times? Maybe I can meet you down there for a later show.

Sure think of it as synergy. Or think of it as the guy who gets off on just watching you get off.

I'd be startled if he explicitly knew I was there, and certainly if he was watching me.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

ETA: And suddenly, a whole bunch of Star Trek plots suck a whole lot more.

Clearly, the present never is changed by mischievous time-travellers: people don't suddenly fade into the ether because a rerun of events has prevented their births - that much is obvious.

How is it obvious?
