LOS OLIVOS, Calif. - Michael Jackson's accuser is distressed and having "a difficult time" dealing with the not guilty verdict against the pop singer, the prosecutor in the molestation case said Wednesday. Santa Barbara County District Attorney Tom Sneddon told NBC's "Today" that he spoke to the accuser immediately after Jackson was acquitted on all counts Monday.

I wonder if they're going to use this to now have Congress try to pass some sort of "non-precedent setting" resolution to suspend double jeopardy for Michael Jackson.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If Congress gets involved in any part of the Michael Jackson media circus, I will immediately secede and declare myself Supreme Overlord of the Independent Republic of Sane. (I assume that once such a declaration has been made, the donations will start rolling in and I'll be able to buy an island somewhere. And island with wireless broadband, preferably.)

bon bon,

I was thinking about TAL and the one where Sarah Vowell learns how to drive is funny as all hell. on edit, it's the How To episode.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I learned that I think the real reason I'm in social services is because I'm so damned nosy. I got to sit in on case conferences today for kids in the GED program, and it was hilarious. I mean, I know some kids have real problems, but the girl being written up for doing the perrito (doggy style) dance toward/on a (white) teacher? Hilarious.

If Congress gets involved in any part of the Michael Jackson media circus...

I don't think there is a single person in congress who wants to get involved with that case. If there is one, I think they should get punished by having every plastic surgery operation performed on Micheal Jackson performed on them.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Thank you!

I learned

  • the doggy-style dance is called the perrito
  • Shake Shack takes 45 minutes, and I'm not all that into it
  • "Be honest": the sum total of my interview with the Committee on Character and Fitness.

Reason 8554 why my school is utterly assbackward:

I get a memo in my box today about a grant program. It's interesting enough and applying wouldn't be hard. But then I see they put it in my box today, but the application is also DUE TODAY. Also, the memo didn't include a copy of the application just an email address. Google is my friend and if I wanted to apply I could.

But, tell me about it and have it due on teh same day? please.

Sigh.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the perrito is not the same doggy-style dance I'm thinking of, but I couldn't get anyone to demonstrate for me. It being my second day and all.

Shake Shack is awesome for dinner, is what it is.

Now I want to go to Shake Shack with Jesse and bon bon.

I so want to see the perrito. Maybe I'll ask a student to demonstrate.
