Now, wait. I've heard of projectile vomiting, but I dunno if even a cat could achieve THAT distance.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

sara is wise, and brenda made me giggle.

I believe sara also mentioned wine...

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Just watched The Closer. Quite good.

I was put off by the "Southern" accent. Also, I'm really tired of the "she's really good at her job but she's messy and has body image problems" thing.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I thought the accent was going to kill me from the promos, but it didn't particularly bother me once I was into the show.

The accent was just wrong. Wrong word emphasis, wrong phrasing. It took me out of the story.

Oh hell yeah.

Ah. I don't know the difference, so it didn't bug me. She didn't sound like my Pensacola/Mobile peeps, but I don't know from southern accents beyond theirs. (Except for my uncle's South Georgia accent, which was nigh incomprehensible to me as a child.)

t /neither here nor there

With respect to the show, I was a little... oh, you know, hard-edged, highly-skilled person comes in, pisses off the regulars, but turns a few of them with his/her mad skilz and being right, yeah, yeah, yeah .

But I thought the case was interesting, and I didn't really call it, so...

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Anyone know of a particularly good episode of TAL? I want to download a couple for listening to at work.

I liked the tales of a teenage embed (or something like that.) Somewhat somber, but really interesting. Laugh out loud ones are often ones with Sedaris and Vowel (no idea spelling.) There was a Valentines one that was utterly soppy. Oh, and the squirrel in the couch one.

I really like the political ones, though I tend to want to throw things. Baghdad & athiest ones most recently were good. There was one on civil liberties that had me yelling.

I'm not really helping, am I?
