It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Anyone know of a particularly good episode of TAL? I want to download a couple for listening to at work.

I liked the tales of a teenage embed (or something like that.) Somewhat somber, but really interesting. Laugh out loud ones are often ones with Sedaris and Vowel (no idea spelling.) There was a Valentines one that was utterly soppy. Oh, and the squirrel in the couch one.

I really like the political ones, though I tend to want to throw things. Baghdad & athiest ones most recently were good. There was one on civil liberties that had me yelling.

I'm not really helping, am I?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah, the crappy day went somewhat into turnaround after I left work tonight. Dad's feeling OK now, though still woozy from the sedatives, and has had his medications changed to up the anti-reflux pills and take him off aspirin and ibuprofin-based painkillers. Some kind of snake-cam fiber optic test is scheduled for next week to check on potential ulcers, but the fact that he responded pretty quickly to medication is encouraging.

Also, hottie Venezuelan guy got back in touch with me tonight to accept my invite to the Serenity screening. I ought to get two toasters for him—not only am I the one who'll introduce him to Firefly, but he came out between our first and second dates.

If I only had a brain...

Wow. That's mighty toaster-ness, Matt; I think you deserve at least a barbecue.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

"she's really good at her job but she's messy and has body image problems"

I got no problem with this, as it describes me and lots of my friends. However, I understand they handle it clumsily in the show.

There was one on seperation of church and state recently. The one on the Gore v. Bush court descision was really good.

Non-political, I love Kid Logic and the phone one.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

... an inchoate strawberry shake all over my kitchen counter, floor, and clothes.

Reminds me of Star Trek's How Much For Just the Planet?

bon bon, I love the Music Lessons one. And I adore the Canadians one. Also, Sibling Rivalry is good for a guffaw.
