Anyone know how to make skin pigmentation fade? I have some marks from where I had scabs that are taking forever to go away.
Dissolve 5-6 plain asprin in a bit of water. Mix with lotion, apply to the marks, then rinse it all off after 15 minutes or so. Do that once a week for a month, and you should see the marks fade.
... and with that, I scamper to go catch the bus home. Bye!
There are some lightening creams that are supposed to help scars. I know Pro-activ has one. If it works on acne scars it should work on most others.
Heather! You just made my afternoon. How are you? I've barely even seen you (here) since I saw you (there).
I cut off my hair today. I was just too too tired of it. I think I am pleased. It suits the weather, all sunny and refusing to rain. Think it'll make me perky?
I don't know how to fade, Kristin, unfortunately. I am hoping someone does though. I have some patches that could use it. [eta: love the hivemind...]
ION, I have slept the last two nights nightmare-free. Thank fuck.
Cassiepants! You cut your hair? Oo, and I get to see next week! Whee!!
Glad your nights have been
sans
bad dreams. Got your phonecall, btw. Thanks sweetie.
Watching
The Inside
now.
I adore the rain, I'm sorry it has bad effects on you.
Thanks. I adore the rain too, because it makes me think of London.
Yeah, it started as a trim but I got enboldened. Apparently that translates to a lot shorter than I planned, in hair terms.
K, can you let me know once The Inside is over if it is okay for me to watch tonight or if I should wait a few ick-free nights? Cause I don't want to tempt the nightmares to return. Not even for Tim. If it is spoiler-y, you can e my phone or call me.
Cass, the first one is already suicide-centric. I don't think that would be fun for nightmares.
I want to see Cass's new haircut!
The dates will be somewhere in the neighborhood of August 6, because that's when one of my best friends from college (well, my only friends from college) is getting married.
When I get home I'll post a link to his wedding website. It's very Buffistaesque. The wedding day begins with a softball game and art show, and apparently there'll be some sort of table-on-table Win The Wedding smackdown later on. And dancing, and a camp-out.
He's an all-around swell person (and a fine actor -- DX saw him perform in
The Witch of Blackbird Pond
a couple of years ago and can vouch for his excellence), and had any Somervillain expressed the least scrap of interest at any time in the last two years, I'd've set him up with any of y'all in a hot second.
I'm hoping that the Expedia gods will bless me and let me arrive on something like the preceding Thursday and leave the following Tuesday without hemorrhaging too much cash, so I can see, well, everyone.
I'm very excited!
