It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The dates will be somewhere in the neighborhood of August 6, because that's when one of my best friends from college (well, my only friends from college) is getting married.

When I get home I'll post a link to his wedding website. It's very Buffistaesque. The wedding day begins with a softball game and art show, and apparently there'll be some sort of table-on-table Win The Wedding smackdown later on. And dancing, and a camp-out.

He's an all-around swell person (and a fine actor -- DX saw him perform in The Witch of Blackbird Pond a couple of years ago and can vouch for his excellence), and had any Somervillain expressed the least scrap of interest at any time in the last two years, I'd've set him up with any of y'all in a hot second.

I'm hoping that the Expedia gods will bless me and let me arrive on something like the preceding Thursday and leave the following Tuesday without hemorrhaging too much cash, so I can see, well, everyone.

I'm very excited!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My nightmares have been pretty horribly specific, but yeah, I might just have to wait a few days to watch. Thanks. Sounds like another night for Firefly dvds...

The hair? It's kinda bob-ified actually. But with the curls, that just means shorter than I am used to mainly. With long (I can chew them) bangs. Much bouncier than it was.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

JZ! That's when I'm going to be in Vermont! Surely we could finagle a way for me to get down there or you up to Vermont?

I decree it excellent, sight unseen! Bouncy curls! What could be wrong?

H'rm. Possibly. Depends on budget. If I can't afford to rent a car (which I kind of suspect will be the case), I'll be dependent on public transit or my brother and his partner for getting around.

Of course, I am utterly ignorant of east coast geography (can't help it -- I live in a state where if you start at either the bottom or the top you can drive in a straight line for a full day and never leave the state), and for all I know Vermont is a 10-minute bike ride from Somerville and it'll be absurdly easy for me to get there.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I think I'm about ready for my defacto chin-length bob with bangs cut. Hair is driving me crazy!

Upside: Today is over!!!!

Downside: Tomorrow is coming...

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cassiepants, I vote you tape the Inside episodes and watch them on a nice sunny day. With an icecream sundae.

Mostly lurking...

Am I rude? I just made dinner...a big, yummy pot of chili. Emily is still at school. She'll call on her way home. I was starving, though, so I went ahead and ate.

I'm a horrible roommate, aren't I?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're going to have to work harder than that to spin making Emily yummy dinner rude vw.

Did you eat the entire big yummy pot, devour all the scraps with which another big yummy pot could be made, and throw out all the other food in the house? No? Then I'm gonna say, You aren't.

Unless it's a trick question.
