If I were independently wealthy, I would totally pack up the family and go work a living history museum somewhere.

I would love this. It combines my theatre/acting/history/education passions quite nicely. Connor Prairie (north of Indy) rocks and I would love to work there.

We totally do this in San Francisco with some regularity. Once a month clubs like: Diabolik, Bardot A Go Go, Popscene.

That library story just astonishes me... we spent a lot of time looking for a computer system to do the timeing ( sadly, people don't share unless you make them) for us that did NOT create records useing any names or id characteristics.
