Are there, like, 1960s reenactments? Because I would totally do a reenactment of the Electric Swinging Pussycat Lounge. Reenactment A Go-Go.
We totally do this in San Francisco with some regularity. Once a month clubs like: Diabolik, Bardot A Go Go, Popscene.
Bardot A Go Go (last one was in April, I guess)
Diabolik (There's one this weekend!)
Will you go with us? Teach us the way?
Absolutely!
Here's my friend who sews all my clothes:

That library story just astonishes me... we spent a lot of time looking for a computer system to do the timeing ( sadly, people don't share unless you make them) for us that did NOT create records useing any names or id characteristics.
I am so very tired of writing beautifully-crafted cover letters specific to the job advertisement I'm responding to and then hearing nothing back.
I am a) sorry to hear about your lack of hearing back and b) right there with ya. Good luck--I hope something comes through for you soon.
Reinactments sound like a lot of fun as long as I can go home to running water and internet access at the end of the day.

Absolutely. We did camp out Sat. night, but we were within yards to a bathroom with real plumbing. No shower, but I could wash off in the sink.

Totally dressing Emeline JUST LIKE Bonny in GWTW.
I wish I could get DH excited about reenacting. A girl has fantasies that need fulfilled, after all....
t thinks about kilts
t thinks about Rifle uniforms
t goes to happy place
I'm going to go to the post office and grocery store, where I will try to linger as long as I can for short, simple errands. Because this staring at the phone willing it to ring crap is no fun.
