Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oooh! I have Chocolat on dvd. Just sitting there, smiling demurely at me. Also? Under the Tuscan Sun. Chickflickfest, ahoy! Who's got the popcorn?

You know, Johnny Depp plus chocolate does NOT EVER equal Willy Wonka. Johnny Depp plus chocolate ALWAYS equals Chocolat. Mmm.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You WILL want Johnny Depp after seeing him, I promise you.
I do... And, my, the dresses were quite lovely too. My life needs a costumer.

Damn movie made me sniffly at the end. Even when Pontouf hopped off... It was very different than the book, for me, but I enjoyed it.

Johnny Depp plus chocolate
Johnny Depp + chocolate = nummmmmmmy...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

All this Depp and addition, yet no subtraction?

If a recipe calls for "minced green onions," which part of the green onion do you use? And what is "minced"?

I would use the white and pale green parts, they usually specify if they want you to use the darker green parts.

Minced is just finely chopped. Thwack at it a while with a kinfe = minced, to me.

Emily's using my food chopper to mince the green onions. She was kind of wimpy with it at first, so I showed her how it's done...really pounding on the thing. She says, "I'm not naturally violent."

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Timelies all. My headache from yesterday appears to be returning. Damn it. I did have a very nice 4th of July picnic gathering at my mom's house, which was tasty and friendly, and normally I would be seeking fireworks now...but with my head returning to its previous state of earth-shattering pain, fireworks sound like pure torture.

Beej, sorry about the poopyhead friend.
