Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I hope the antibiotics help, Teppy. Summer colds suck and sinus infections are worse.

Whoo-hoo circus boy! That sounds so fun for Emmett, Hec.

You know, even apart from this whole 4th of July thing, I am beginning to think it might be summer. I drove home with the top down, and managed to get a little red from the sun on the way home.

Coming back from Oregon and Washington, I was told I had actually gotten some tan. Now, living in the land of neon white skin, this actually just puts me one step above pale as death, and yet, I was tickled.

He pouts better than any baby I have ever seen.

I might just die of all the cute baby. I actually saw Owen's eyes first, and had to look for the bump. And Mal is just adorable. Usually, when catching up I don't click on all the pictures that take forever to load on my dialup, but it's Saturday and rainy, so I'm getting the full impact of gorgeousness today.

Boo, Alaska! Boo!

Not Alaska! But boo Alaska Airlines all you want. I'll join you. They have gone really downhill the last 5-10 years. Although, I suppose I should be nice to them, as they are my only option for leaving town other than a really long boat ride.

I haven't tried the new Diet Coke yet. I don't drink a lot of pop, and so far have pretty much only done regular, because I'm horribly allergic to aspartame. I really hope that the Splenda stuff works out better.

I hope this week is better than last, Plei, by a significant margin. The whole car thing sounds so stressful. I hope you've found some good dress workarounds.

Hey. New board.

Hey, P-C, I'll pay you to write answers to my final exam in my Mathematics and Multicultural Education class. I'm finding myself severely undermotivated.

What say you to a shiny nickel per question?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

A nickel, huh?

How about...no.

Unless there happen to be several hundred questions, and you don't mind if I just paste sections of my thesis in.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

As a non-diet drinker, I like CDw/S, but Coke Zero better, and, I think, I'm more or less the target market, especially for Zero, so, good for them.

David, I've been listening to Virgin UK, and they've been playing James Blunt a lot, and I like him, but the album hasn't been released here. Makes me sad. (I realize, now, that this is almost a non-sequitur, but, what the Hell)

Always Anti-fascist!

My mother thinks music therapists rule, askye. That they are the best of all therapists at getting response from kids. Very impressed by Emmett, Circus Star. Have not cut my hair yet, but have had ice cream and watched the last of "Rescue Me" Season One. I now have a greater than average urge to call people "asshole", even for me, but there is something special about the way Leary says it; it wouldn't be the same.(One of the funniest comedy routines I've ever seen involved him getting his kid out of trouble with the nuns after the kid piped up with his dad's "Asshole Song" in class.)

But it's shiny!

That's precisely what I was listening to. I stopped paying direct attention after a while, so not sure if I heard any James Blunt. Then I decided I should switch to Sarah McLachlan, since for some reason I work better with her than the radio, and work was necessary. What I really want is The Postal Service but most of my CDs are, sadly, still in California.

OMG, she is lovely.

Did you do a drive-in for the movie? Used to take the nephew to those when he was wee. Saw one of the earlier Bat movies that way. One of the sucky ones that had Poison Ivy in it.

eta: Batman & Robin. I was thinking it was one that had an interesting soundtrack, but no. I like Batman Forever's soundtrack though.

Hey. New board.

That may be the cutest thing ever.
