'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

My mother thinks music therapists rule, askye. That they are the best of all therapists at getting response from kids. Very impressed by Emmett, Circus Star. Have not cut my hair yet, but have had ice cream and watched the last of "Rescue Me" Season One. I now have a greater than average urge to call people "asshole", even for me, but there is something special about the way Leary says it; it wouldn't be the same.(One of the funniest comedy routines I've ever seen involved him getting his kid out of trouble with the nuns after the kid piped up with his dad's "Asshole Song" in class.)

Hey. New board.

A nickel, huh?
How about...no.

But it's shiny!

David, I've been listening to Virgin UK, and they've been playing James Blunt a lot, and I like him, but the album hasn't been released here.

That's precisely what I was listening to. I stopped paying direct attention after a while, so not sure if I heard any James Blunt. Then I decided I should switch to Sarah McLachlan, since for some reason I work better with her than the radio, and work was necessary. What I really want is The Postal Service but most of my CDs are, sadly, still in California.

OMG, she is lovely.

Did you do a drive-in for the movie? Used to take the nephew to those when he was wee. Saw one of the earlier Bat movies that way. One of the sucky ones that had Poison Ivy in it.

eta: Batman & Robin. I was thinking it was one that had an interesting soundtrack, but no. I like Batman Forever's soundtrack though.

Hey. New board.

That may be the cutest thing ever.

brillig

Hubby likes the Coke Zero (or, as he calls it Coke-Oh). We compared the ingredient label to my diet Coke. The ingredients are identical except that it's aspartame-phosphoric acid in dC and phoshoric acid-aspartame in C0. Also, there's another ingredient in C0 that I don't remember but is one of those chemcial names, and it comes next to last right before caffeine. It tastes very similar to dC but off just enough that my addicted taste buds were not impressed.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Yay, Ple! You finally got to see the Bat! I'm starting to feel like such a slacker since I have no good excuse to not have seen it yet. Maybe tomorrow.

And the Lilybat is a wee cherubic cutie! I want one for my sofa. I'd pet it and play with it and call it Lily. And nibble its toes.

Cass, yep. We went down to a drive-in. If we do it again, we're bringing a radio, as the car radio isn't the greatest sound in the world.

It was my first time at a drive-in. There were a lot of babies there, so I suspect it's a popular option.

Batman Begins needed more shirtlessness.

But this is true of all movies.

Hey. New board.

But this is true of all movies.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants has some shirtlessness and could I POSSIBLY be stretching for more reasons to pimp this movie? Especially since I'm sure time is not something you have much of, so you probably won't be checking out random chick flicks just for the heck of it.
