Oh, and give me a lot of money. It'll help, I swear.
Like a day or so. Do you have fabric yet?
So I need lots of cash AND fabric.
I'm going to get it tomorrow.
'Bushwhacked'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

DER! Uncleared cache. I was responding to your question about how long it would take to make.
When purchasing fabric, Shari said if it's 45" wide, we need four yards, if it's 36" wide, we need six yards.
Zoe Duncan Jack & Jane.
And he saved you. sighhhhh
Ok, I was gonna get 10 yds. I want it SOOPER SWOOSHY.
Like my Lex.
And now I've gone back and edited, so now it is Aims who looks crazy, and not me.
She says eight at absolute tops. Seriously.
Also, there has apparently been some outside consultation with other designers.
And now I've gone back and edited, so now it is Aims who looks crazy, and not me.
No amount o editing is going to change how crazy you look, my love.
8 tops. Is that including yardage for the lining?
Lining?
NO LINING!
I'm not sure what this means. Does someone from the embassy actually go visit random americans in the hospital?!? Or is it people who like, work there?
No...when Americans (usually tourists without a support network otherwise) get hospitalized, the embassy usually gets involved just in a lines-of-communication thing. We either facilitate communication between the hospitalized person and folks back home, or between the American and the hospital, if needed.
You don't get a visit from an embassy official unless you're in jail.
That said, people, NEVER rent a scooter in Greece. I know it seems like the thing to do and all, but Greece has the highest rate of motorcycle and scooter fatalities (and incidently, crashes) in Europe. No one's died this week (yet), but there were several pins and metal plates put in. And one guy, who only got stitches, is being hounded by the scooter rental guy to pay for the damaged scooter. Which happens all the time.
(Signed, not getting much sleep this week between Plei-esque crankiness and pseudo-job work)
